Photos of In Season Winter Wedding Flowers
Finding in season winter wedding flowers may sound like a difficult task, but there still are many options to pick from. Many flowers aren't technically "in season" in winter (such as roses and carnations) but we include them here because they are always available from a florist year round and will be your best bets for affordability.

Fall Wedding Flowers
for those of you planning for different seasons. Roses - In winter, all colors of roses are still available thanks to their demand. For winter centerpieces consider mixing roses with ivy, rosemary or other winter "green" fillers to cut costs as in the photos below.

Carnations - Don't turn up your nose at carnations until you look at these lovely photos! Creating an arrangement out of carnations of a solid color is stunning and as cheap as it gets! They come in all imaginable colors and they last forever. Mix them with the same color roses for a stunning presentation like the purple bouquet below. In my opinion, carnations are the easiest flower to work with (can be arranged days in advance) for the DIYer and the cheapest too.

Poinsettia - Perhaps the most well known winter wedding flower poinsettias are available around the holidays. However, they also come in a beautiful crisp white color that you may want to consider if the red ones look too "holiday" to you.

Non-flower Winter Accents - Since in-season winter wedding flowers are limited, consider using in-season accent plants in your bridal centerpieces or bouquets. Ivy, rosemary, holly and pine cones are great additions to make your arrangements more wintery.
