Wine glass Place card holders and Gifts

I Purchased a variety of wine glasses for each guest from a thrift store for 30 cents a piece. I am going to tie a nice red ribbon on wine glass stem with a tag that read "Thank you for joining us on our Special Occassion" with our names and the date of the wedding. Place their Name card (printed on fancy bussiness card paper)for seating inside the wine glass (empty of course) and place it on the main Plate. A place card holder AND a gift for your guest to bring home, a new wine glass :)

If I had the budget, I would get our initals and the date etched in to the wine glass. So that is another idea.

Unfortunately I dont have a photo because its yet to be done :) but it will be fun, and i'll post one after the wedding.
