Do it Yourself Wedding Sand Ceremony Container & Shadowbox Frame
This wedding sand ceremony container is a shadowbox frame! The following tutorial was submitted by Charise, one of our readers!Materials Needed: - Shadow box frame
- 1-1" stopper
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- 4x6 picture
- 2, 10 inch strips of ribbon
- 2, 8 inch strips of ribbon
- Drill and 1" bit
- Craft glue
- Scissors
Directions: 1. Remove the back of the frame. 2. Measure the center point of the frame, then drill a hole in the top of the frame where the sand goes: 
3. Be sure to clean up all the dust and wood chips 4. Apply glue stick to the 4 corners on the front of the picture. A small amount works. 
5. Place the picture face down onto the inside of the glass. Let it set. 6. Using the glue gun, apply a small bead of glue on the inside lip of the frame. 
7. Put the back of the frame back on. Press firmly. 8. Apply another bead of glue along the seams of the frame. 
9. Apply craft glue to the ribbon and place over the back seam to cover the glue. 
To personalize your shadow box, add embellishments such as flowers, lace, trim, rhinestone trim, beads, whatever! You're only limited by your creativity!
