DIY Wedding Rose Garland Beads

These wedding rose garland "beads" are the cutest little things! For my example, I used mini roses, but regular sized buds would work too. Ideally, you'll used buds or flowers that are not opened yet all the way.

This is a quick way to add a little flower detail to ribbons or strips of tulle that you could hang over doorways, along reception table edges or on chair backs.

DIY Wedding Rose Garland Instructions:

You must use fresh flowers. Older flowers that are too opened will fall apart easily. You need flowers that are tight and firm to hold together. Since the flowers will not be in water, this is a project that needs to be done at the last minute.

pin roses make rose bead

Take a regular pin and push it down into the center of your rose.

Use a needle nose pliers and bend the end of the pin until it pokes back into the rose. This way, no sharp pin is exposed and it creates a wire loop that you can use like a bead to string your rose on ribbon or tulle.

These make great ties for curtains or wrapped around bottles.

rose in hair roses from ceiling

In hair or even hanging from the ceiling! So many things you can do with roses this way, used as beads.

Have fun creating with your new DIY wedding garland beads as part of your wedding decorating!
