Do It Yourself Wedding Place Card Holder Ideas

If you need wedding place card holders to display your guests’ names at their assigned seats, the obvious way is to print their name on cardstock and fold it in half so it stands up on its own. Here are some more wedding place card holder ideas that are just as easy and more unique!

Obviously, if you have a printer you’ll save a bundle by printing out the cards yourself on thick paper or cardstock. If not, you can still save money by taking your wedding place card holder idea to a Kinkos or other print shop. Some online companies will print these for you, but shop around to compare prices.

Simply print out the names of your guests and insert the name card in the tines of a fork.

If you plan to have your silverware wrapped up in the cloth napkin, tie the napkin with a decorative ribbon and tie on the wedding place card holder like a tag. Simply print out your name cards (or have them printed) and use a circle hole punch to make a hole in one corner for the ribbon. Then tie it on.

The ribbon used can coordinate with your wedding colors nicely. You could also add a sprig of rosemary or another herb under the ribbon for decoration.

It’s your wedding, do it the way you want!
