Wedding Cake Card Box !

After searching high and low and being on a strict budget for my daugthers wedding for a card box that was a bit more than the plain ones in the stores. We decided to make one !

Materials
(2) Coregated Hat Boxes one larger than the other.
Wrapping Paper - color of your wedding colors
(1) Roll of Wedding themed Ribbon
(1) Package of Wedding Scrap Booking Set or any other design you like.
Any Craft Items you would like to have on your box- have fun shopping, we did on the sale items and clearance racks.
Hot Glue Gun

Directions.
Cut a hole out of the larger box top
Cut a hole out of the bottom of the smaller box
Cut a slit on the lid of the smaller hat box for cards to be dropped in.
Cover Both Hat boxe with paper ( we used heavier wrapping paper) - Be sure to cover the tops and bottoms seperatly.
Hot Glue to Smaller box onto the larger box to resemble a tierd wedding cake.
Hot glue your decorative items on your card box to match your theme or style.
Make a home made ribbon out of the ribbon and a piece of tule if desired and hot glue on behind the top slip for cards. We left the
Hot Glue Ribbon around the lids and the bottom of the larger box.

We were able to purchase these items on sale for the total cost of entire progect aprox $6.00
