In Season Summer Wedding Flowers

If your wedding is in the summer, you are in luck when in comes to summer wedding flowers! Almost everything is in abundance in this season. When flowers are in abundance it means the prices are a bit lower which is good news for your bridal budget. Gerbera Daisies - These are an excellent and super affordable bridal blooms choice. They come in any color imaginable and last and last as a cut flower. Great pick for the DIYer.

Lavender - This lovely scented purple flower is generally only available in the summer, although can be used dried at any time of the year.

Hibiscus - These showy flowers come in vibrant tropical colors and would be great for a tropical, island or beach wedding theme.

Marigold - Easy to grow yourself but unfortunately many people are put off by their scent. Come in oranges and yellow only.

Peonies - Huge, showy peonies grow in delicate pastel pinks, creams and whites. An excellent choice for summer wedding flowers.

Jasmine - Tiny white flowers that pack a punch with their heady scent.

Coneflower - These flowers are where the herb echinacea comes from. Hardy flowers that do well when cut.
