orchids & vases
by Atalia T.
1)one mirror tile (round or square)(1-2$) 2)one taller glass cylinder vase (1$) 3)two shorter glass cylinder vases (1$ each) 4)two or three synthetic orchids (I used 2, since I cut one in half for the two short vases, and one for the tall vase)(2$) 5)three votive candles in candle holders (1-3$) (I payed 3 for a dollar!!!) 6)three floating candles (1-2$)(I payed 2 for a dollar) 7)water Instructions: Use a heavy duty wire cuter to cut one orchid in half. Bend the long (whole) orchid in a spiral shape and place it in the long vase. Bend the orchid halves and place one in each short vase. (sometimes the dye can shed in the water, it is better to soak and dry the flowers in advance to avoid having tinted water in the vase.) place the three vases om the mirror tile and the three candles around. Place one floating candle in each vase (make sure that the flower is properly inserted in the vase and fully submerged in the water so that it won't interfere with the floating candle.) Light the candles and voila! a beautiful centerpiece |
