Make A Cool Groomsmen Gift!

by Mel

This cool groomsmen gift is very fun and personal. It is a scrapbook of sorts, but not a complicated scrapbook that takes a lot of time and precision. This book brings out your own personality and past - and it doesn't take long to put together.

To begin, you need a three ring binder and paper to go inside. You can match these with your wedding colors, if you want.
Next you need a theme. ABCs make an easy starting point so I like to use them for these scrapbooks.

For instance, if your name is Tom, you could do:
Tom's College ABC Book
Growing up With Tom - An ABC Book
A Few of My Favorite Things
Tom's ABCs of Life
Things I Didn't Learn in Kindergarten - Tom's ABC Book

After you choose your title, you can make a title page to slip in the front plastic sheath on the front of the binder and another to go inside.
Now you will make one page for every letter of the alphabet. You can use stickers, write the letters with a marker, or print the sheets out on your computer.

The last step is to find things to go with each letter of the alphabet. For example: pictures, memories, words, inside jokes, quotes, brochures, business cards, etc. The more you can include things that are personal to your groomsmen, the better. Think of places you have gone together, people you have met and crazy ideas you cooked up late at night!

If you need to make gifts for more than one groomsmen or if you want a keepsake copy for yourself, take the finished book and have colored copies made.

Have fun with your own cool groomsmen gift!
