We did this for our wedding in 2001. We made apple butter and salsa. I then printed address labels on the computer with our name and the date with a blank spot in the center for writing in what was in the jar. We just mixed them up at the tables. They were a big hit, easy, inexpensive, and we were able to do them over one month in advance!
