All these fall wedding centerpiece photos were taken at a reception done the DIY way. The bride and groom were on a strict budget and decided to handle decorations and a lot of the food preparation themselves.

For their beachside reception they wanted their fall wedding centerpiece colors to be bright and vibrant so they chose sunflowers as the focus flower. Carnations and goldenrod were a cheap addition that added more color. Their flowers were bought on the cheap at Costco. They also found peppers that were added to their fall wedding centerpiece design which went perfect with their Mexican themed reception food!

They also accented the long tables with tiny pumpkins and gourds.

A simple sunflower bouquet is very cheap since just a few sunflowers are enough and sunflowers are abundant in fall.

The bride and groom are such ambitious do-it-yourselfers that they even made a lot of the food and drinks themselves! Margaritas and gazpacho were perfect for the festive celebration.
