Stunning Dried Flower Centerpiece Ideas
Dried flower centerpiece arrangements create stunning earthy tones for your wedding reception tables. Perfect for a fall wedding! Very easy to do yourself, much easier than using cut flowers that require water. Simply arrange and you are done! You don't have to worry about wilting, drooping or petals blooming too early. The perfect choice for someone who wants to do her own flowers but doesn't want to deal with last minute stress.

Simply arrange wreath-style around a large candle or sprinkle the dried flower heads onto your tables among tea-light candles. For a more "clean" look, fill large bowls with dried flowers and petals potpourri style. You can also gather bunches of dried flowers (still on stems) and wrap with twine or ribbon and lay on the tables or arrange in vases. Dried flowers with wicker baskets is a beautiful, rustic combination.

If you are well in advance of your wedding you can start collecting dried flowers slowly over time. Use flowers from your own garden and ask friends to give you old arrangements for you to dry when they are done with them. Better yet, talk to local florists. You can't even begin to imagine all the flowers they throw away each day that would be perfect for drying! Many will simply give you their "throw away" flowers and others will sell you bulk quantities of their old flowers. Lastly, you can of course buy dried flowers from craft stores--but why buy when you can do it yourself?
