Build Your Own Dance Floor
"In my initial research, a couple of years ago, I found that it was possible to construct a customizable dance floor for hundreds of dollars rather than thousands, and that the parts were more widely available, re-useable, recyclable... or could even be donated to Habitat for Humanity." This simple 20' by 20' dance floor is assembled using 13 plywood sheets and covered with linoleum. The best part is that it can easily be broken down and the materials can be reused and repurposed! This would be an excellent option for those of you who are planning a reception in someone's backyard for example. Heels do not pair well with grass, believe me. The full drawn tutorial (great hand drawn images are included so if you are a visual person like me it will make sense right away) is available for free on his website here: www.Meridiem.org/dancefloor |
