DIY Wedding Bride REAL Stories
Introducing an all new section on our site! We'll be featuring real DIY brides and interviewing them! Asking them what they crafted DIY style for their wedding, problems they ran into, their advice, photos and more! A great new place for inspiration and ideas. Want to be the next featured DIY Bride? I'd love to hear about what you are up to and interview you!

DIY Bride Spotlight - Wai Sze
Our first featured DIY Bride is recently married, Wai Sze, who blended hiring professionals with her own DIY projects. Don't get me wrong, she did a LOT of things herself and the results are stunning! Look at her photos of her DIY favors, invites, veil and more!

Post-Holiday & Valentine Wedding Shopping Reminder

Happy New Year!

If you recently got engaged, welcome to the DIY Weddings site! I know a lot of you are new (as my traffic and subscriptions jump in January each year) so welcome and congrats!

Just a quick reminder that NOW is a great time to hit the stores and save a BUNDLE on holiday clearance items. You can find beautiful decorative candles, vases and centerpiece materials in metallic silver and gold that was meant for the holidays but easily translates into WEDDING! Just yesterday I saw some lovely silver candle holders and candles on clearance for less than a dollar!

Also, valentines day is coming up next month so be sure to check the shelves (especially just after the holiday) for heart shaped decorative items if you have any interest in a "heart themed" DIY wedding. Shop these seasonal sales and save money!

PS - We are looking for DIY brides to interview and feature on our site! Please check out our new section above and contact me if you are interested.
